How to Promote Your Songs on blogs for free in 2020

Music promotion is a major challenge facing every independent artist all over the world. People in the music industry knows how challenging it is for unsigned artist to raise a huge budget to carter for their music promotion in 2020 ranging from:

  • Production Cost to
  • Artwork
  • Social media Hype
  • Blog Promotion
  • Digital Distribution
  • Online Mixtapes
  • Sponsored Ads
  • Radio Airplay
  • TV Promotions
  • etcetera etcetera

The blog system has become a platform where entertainers cannot do without as it is needed to get your content across to a good number of internet users. For artists to have their song on a reputable blog in Nigeria, will cost them nothing less than 80 dollars.

In three steps, I will show you an old trick that will help you Promote Your Songs on blogs for free in 2020 without paying a dime.

1. Visit all the blogs you know and look for their “Contact Us” or “Enquiry” page; when you find it copy down their email addresses somewhere.

2. Two days before the official release of your song, send them your song, artwork, and press release. ( When sending the email, try to be polite and make sure you send a professional press release).

3. When you finally release the song, send them a follow-up email. In this email, make sure you add a youtube link to the official audio or video.

If you send the song to twenty blogs; five to seven bloggers might take a listen and put out for you. This is an old trick that still works. I had my friend’s song on Waptrick years ago without paying for it. I can assure you I still receive emails from artists every week.
