Sometime last year, Jeffy Jeff parted ways with his record label No Limit Music after he made a series of post about his boss Kingsley Anu on social media.
After Jeff’s departure, he went on to record a song with an artist titled Bongo which did well and received awesome reviews from industry heads and was played by a lot of DJs in the streets of Port Harcourt and radio stations. After a while, Jeffy was seen promoting a song titled Onome. He posted the snippet on his social media handles for several weeks and later announced he has joined a label called ChopLife. We are unaware if he is the owner of the label or not.
Last week, after being unavailable on social media for about a month or two, the Port Harcourt based singer, returned and announced he now works for the Lord.
Many people were happy and wished him well but this morning, we saw a post from a Port Harcourt based blogger which caught us.
He wrote “So someone has finally dumped secular music and give his life to Christ after an unsuccessful career. To God be the glory!
Though names were not mentioned in his post, we are very sure the post was fired at Jeff. Mind you, this was the same blogger who was blasted last month for reporting a piece of sensitive news as people called it and the same blogger who’s known for making minor blunders in his posts.
A fact though is that Jeff has not made an official statement that he is dumping secular music for gospel. Do you think he was right saying Jeffy Jeff is unsuccessful and he has dumped secular music considering the fact that change is constant?
Leave us your thought and we will keep you updated.
