“I want Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy to do a song together before I die” – Kemi Olunloyo
Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has said she wants superstar singers, Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy to do a song together before she dies.
Kemi in a post shared via her official Twitter handle noted that it’s her dying wish to see the trio come together to work on a song.
According to Kemi who revealed she has been a music journalist for 27 years, if her dream eventually comes to fusion and the legendary singers do a song together, it would be played at her funeral reception.
“I wanna see Davido, Burna and Wizkid do a song together before I die. I’ve been a music journalist 27 years among other news beats, a music publicist and a Canadian Grammy Judge. When I die, that song must be played at my funeral reception. I will be so proud as an Angel. DO IT?”. She tweeted.

Singer, Davido reacts to the arrest of billionaire club owner, Obi Cubana
Following the report that popular club owner and Entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, otherwise known as Obi Cubana, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged money laundering, Nigerian singer, Davido has reacted to the development.
It was earlier reported that Anambra-born club owner, who arrived the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja, at about noon on Monday, is currently being interrogated by operatives of the commission.
According to reports, his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
Davido took to his Instagram story moments ago to share a photo of the billionaire while leaving a caption in Igbo.

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido and his estranged fiancée, Chioma have finally followed each other back on photo-sharing platform, Instagram.
The former lovers who unfollowed each other after the news of their split hit the internet few months ago, seem to have made peace.

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido, and his ex-fiancee and babymama, Chioma Rowland Avril, are now following eachother on Instagram after months apart.

Singer, Mayorkun reveals why he didn’t feature ex-boss, Davido in his new album
Popular Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel better known as Mayorkun, has revealed why he didn’t feature his former record label boss, Davido, in his new album.
Mayorkun got signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2016 and worked closely with Davido for years. However, rumour has it that he quietly exited the record label recently because his contract was not renewed.
His newly released album ‘Back in Office’ also confirms that he is no longer with DMW because it was not promoted by the label and their logo is not on the album cover.
The self-acclaimed ‘Mayor of Lagos’ held a listening party for his new album recently and had a chat with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
When asked why Davido was not featured in the album, Mayorkun said;
“Most people don’t know how creating an album works; sometimes, it’s a groups of songs you’ve had way back and just compile together.
“The songs that we have together I don’t feel like it’s for this album but for a later time.
“I and Davido have songs together and it is not a situation that I took out his song for my album.”
The Listening party was attended by former and current DMW signees as well as Davido.

How Davido reportedly turned down Gov Sanwo-Olu’s invitation to a concert
Popular Nigerian singer and music executive, David Adeleke better known as Davido, reportedly turned down Lagos state governor, Sanwo-olu’s invitation to a concert.
According to activist, Rinu Oduala who stated this on Twitter, the DMW boss was invited to perform at a concert in Lagos but the moment he discovered that state government was one of the sponsors he declined.
