“God knows I’m so American for these people” – Laura Ikeji reacts after being dragged for getting chin fillers
Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, Laura Ikeji has reacted after she was dragged to filth for getting chin fillers.
The mum of two had taken to her Instagram page on Monday, November 8, to announce that she has acquired a new chin from an Aesthetic Dermatologist.
She shared a video of the procedure and wrote,

“I bought a new chin from @iamdrbea .
Pls respect yourselves n not abuse me o. This is my page ?”
Laura’s new chin stirred mixed reactions online as some Nigerians opined that cosmetic surgery is becoming an addiction for her. Read here.
She has now reacted to the negative remarks she received in a series of posts she shared on her IG story.
According to her, fillers are different from plastic surgery and wears out in a couple of months.
She also said she is too American for Nigerians.

“Yo! Ppl are legit mad about me getting fillers like… something that would come off in months. Lol
Fillers isn’t same as plastic surgery guys naija naija!
God knows I’m so American for these ppl.
Yo! I’ve never done plastic surgery in my life, many of y’all fave have.
Anywhoo, in Kanye’s voice I’m here and would be here for a long time.”

Recall that the socialite caused a stir on social media when she showed off her new chin for the first time after surgery. Despite telling netizens not to abuse her, as it’s her body, social media users still dragged her to filth over her new look.
However, moments ago she shared her husband’s reaction to the surgery that has got tongues wagging. Laura asked her husband what he thinks about her new chin, and in response he noted that he can’t seem to see any difference between how it was before the surgery and now.

“I don’t know, but I don’t think it’s worth it, it looks the same… No difference”, he said.
Reacting to her husband’s comment while sharing the video on her official Instagram page, Laura wrote, “I need a divorce! Hater!!!!!!! ???”.
